I beg your pardon for not being around lately. All thoughtful and insightful comments left on the last posts,
deserves not only many thanks, but also my heartfelt gratitude. There is hope in words that are being read.
My old computer has been suffering from the winter blues and is now beyond any recovery. Until the beginning of March, I will have to make do with short visits on my son's Mac. Please feel free to write (justlikebirds@gmail.com), I will be reading mail and also try to visit.
More than being without a computer, I worry about the 'February Bookaway'. The book is here, a childhood favourite chosen by my son. I will try my very best to share it before we write March.
On the bright side, the snow is melting, the birds singing and I feel better for every day that passes.
1. Edmund on my pillow

I love looking at your winter! We miss hibernation time down in this hot place even though it has been strangely cool this year. Edmund has the right idea!
ReplyDelete@Makeminemidcentury I have two Macs, so there won't be any problem sharing. I think the real problem lies in switching over from a PC to an Apple computer, but I'll help her along the way! Also.. I'm featured in the next Bookaway, so I'd very much like to be a part of that post anyways! :)
ReplyDeletedear friend,

Darn computers and their unfriendly ways. I am currently confounded by my cameras error 99, why give a number?, like that really helps. Wouldn't it be nice if a message came up on your computer that said sorry I'm broken, go and have a cup of tea or snuggle up and read a book.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I adore the places my computer takes me ( visiting you for example ), I dislike the machine itself...this should not be so, I should learn to love it.
ReplyDeleteAll love to you.
